SUMMARY
Ā As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and is eager to learn and grow in a professional office environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.

- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, managing calendars,Ā processing physicalĀ mailĀ and scheduling appointments.Ā AssistĀ with preparing documents, reports, and presentations as needed.āÆĀ
- Front Desk Duties: Greet visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.Ā Check in guestsĀ via visitor kiosk,Ā direct inquiries to theĀ appropriate personĀ or department.Ā Ā
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter data into spreadsheets, databases, and other electronic systems. Maintain and update records, files, and documents in a systematic and organized manner.āÆĀ
- Filing and Document Management: Organize andĀ maintainĀ physical and electronic files. Ensure documents are properly labeled, filed, and easily accessible. Retrieve and distribute files asĀ requested.āÆĀ
- Office Supplies and Inventory Management: Monitor andĀ maintainĀ inventory of office supplies, equipment, and stationery.Ā Place orders for supplies as needed and ensureĀ the availabilityĀ of necessary items.āÆĀ
- Meeting and Event Support: Assist in preparing meeting rooms, including arranging furniture, setting up audiovisual equipment,Ā arrangingĀ forĀ andĀ providing refreshments, returning meeting spaces back to originalĀ condition. Take meeting minutes and distribute them to attendees asĀ required.āÆĀ
- Communication and Correspondence: Draft, proofread, and edit routine correspondence, memos, and reports. Maintain professional andĀ timelyĀ communication with internal staff, external contacts, and clients.āÆĀ
- Office Organization and Maintenance:Ā MaintainĀ a clean and organized office environment. EnsureĀ communal areas, such as the reception area, kitchenettes,Ā and conference rooms, are tidy and presentable. Coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.āÆĀ
- Coordinate relationships and services provided by key Facility Vendors (e.g.,Ā Office Supplies,Ā CafĆ© Vendor,Ā Landscaping, Pest Control, Dumpster, Recycling, Office Cleaning, Window Washing, etc.)Ā
- SupportĀ new employee onboarding w/ HR, Facilities Team, IT, and Hiring ManagerĀ
- Participate in site Engagement Committee which arranges team building,Ā volunteerĀ and other engagement activities for the full teamĀ
- Coordinate weekly updates to āscreen contentā and distribute office memos and newsletters asĀ requiredĀ
- Manage āCompany Swagā supply and allocation to teamĀ
- Coordinate with corporate travel team to support visiting Edge team members during visits to Ann ArborĀ
- Administrative Tasks: Provide support on special projects, assignments, orĀ tasksĀ assigned by supervisors or managers. Adapt to changing priorities andĀ handlingĀ multiple tasks simultaneously.āÆĀ

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic understanding of office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners.āÆĀ
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.āÆĀ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.āÆĀ

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work environment may involve a standard office setting while also incorporating elements of a production area. Employees will use standard office equipment, including computers, and must demonstrate stamina to sit or stand while maintaining attention to detail despite potential interruptions. The role may require occasional activities such as walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and bending. Vision is necessary for reading printed materials and a computer screen, while hearing and speech are essential for effective communication both in person and over the telephone. Additionally, the position may necessitate travel by air or automobile. Employees may be required to use personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coats, to ensure safety in the production environment. Employees may be able to lift up toĀ 30Ā pounds as needed.
