Job Purpose:
Lead and execute the operations and on-going implementation of Production Readiness Onboarding training. Deliver manufacturing ready new hires HDMA (Full Time & Contingent) to the department by utilizing onboarding best practices. Back up to Engine Assembly Training Coordinator.

Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure all team members are proficient in production processes through regular sign-offs and knowledge verification of assignment including SQCDME (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, Environment).
- Knowledge expert for all Engine Assembly production processes to support online training, audit, develop and educate associates. Identify if trainee is having issues or concerns with process technique or tool usage to correct with hands on training.
- Update Structure Rotation Matrix’s for all Engine Assembly associates. Work with Department Manager to Front Line Leaders on associate progress and training. Understand gap in training & execute support plan to enhance associate's skill, knowledge and performance.
- Expert in Engine Assembly systems used to track and look up data related to training and signoffs for management request. Analyse and present data to management, staff, and associates.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience: 0-6 years’ experience in manufacturing based on education
Other Job-Specific Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Honda / Japanese culture, philosophy and terminology
- Positive attitude, passionate about people and enabling their success
- Present material to small and large groups
- Ability to train and develop others
- Strong communication skills (written or oral) and decision making
- Strong self-motivation and desire to work in a manufacturing environment
