Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Analyst to join our growing team!
In this role you will support the analysis of vulnerabilities and packet capture (PCAP) information, enhancing our cyber battlespace awareness. This offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the security and effectiveness of our operations by leveraging advanced cybersecurity analysis techniques to enhance our cyber situational awareness and defense capabilities
What You'll Be Doing:
- Ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data, providing actionable insights to support our mission objectives
- Conducting thorough analyses of network traffic and PCAP data to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities
- Utilize advanced tools and techniques to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats, ensuring that our systems are protected against malicious activities
- Interact with various stakeholders and team members to provide detailed reports and recommendations
What Required Skills You Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity analyst, with a strong background in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
- Deep understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity best practices, and vulnerability assessment methodologies, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets
What Desired Skills You Might Bring:
- Malware analysis experience
