Overview

The CAD Drafter will be responsible for preparing and revising engineering drawings, schematics, logic diagrams, and block diagrams, working at our customer's facility, in support of the customer and the government's mission.

Responsibilities

Prepare engineering drawings, schematics, logic diagrams and block diagrams as required
Track and organize changes to the CAD data holdings as documents are added
Assist in checking documentation and signing off on drawings
Provide estimates on tasks including design and drafting time required, types of drawings and materials required
Meet with program management to obtain information to start and complete tasks
Attend meetings with program related personnel for general review of task status and performance
Perform design on more complex tasks or tasks requiring quick turnaround time.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearance based on position requirements, if needed.
Ability and willingness to work 100% on-site. No telework is permitted, per government requirements.
Two (2) years mechanical drawing, CAD, and illustrative design or commercial art experience.
One (1) year experience with AutoCAD v14 or later.
One (1) year experience preparing and revising engineering drawings, schematics, logic diagrams, and block diagrams.
Ability to take technical instructions to map out engineering diagrams and drawings.
Experience with military or communications equipment (SATCOM) preferred.

Pay Range: $25/hour to $32/hour

The annual base pay range for this job level is a general guideline only. UltiSat considers additional factors, including but not limited to, responsibilities of the job; the candidate's technical skills, work experience, education and training; and internal equity and alignment with market data, all in compliance with applicable laws.
