Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support a mission-critical enterprise service delivering software security solutions across customer enclaves. This role supports a cloud-based platform leveraging microservices and containerized technologies to enable secure, scalable, and resilient operations.

The engineer will work within a collaborative team environment, partnering with cross-agency stakeholders to design, develop, and sustain enterprise software capabilities in support of national security missions.

What You’ll Do:• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based software solutions• Support full lifecycle software engineering including design, integration, testing, and sustainment• Contribute to architecture and design reviews• Troubleshoot and resolve software and system issues• Support system enhancements, performance optimization, and reliability improvements• Collaborate with team members to review and refine software components• Assist in shaping technical approaches, timelines, and project scope

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph is required.• No degree required; 8+ years of relevant experience required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant software engineering experience.• Experience across the software development lifecycle including design, development,    integration, testing, and maintenance.• DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification (Security+ or higher)
• One of the following certifications is required:  o AWS Certified Developer – Associate  o AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional  o Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)  o Elastic Certified Engineer
• Candidates must provide proof of certifications during the screening or offer process

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.EEO
