Location: Annapolis Junction (25 mile radius) Security Clearance Required: TS-SCI with FS poly **This position is not open for any clearance upgrades or sponsorship.**

Responsibilities

What you get to do every day:
  • Senior Oracle database administration experience supporting large scale or enterprise level database services.

  • Practice/Technical Director provides technology and industry leadership on large and/or more complex IT engagements.
  • Technical Director leads enterprise wide solution engagements for high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.
  • Develops an integrated and robust solution based on customer needs combining GOTS, COTS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and third party components.
  • Provides subject matter experience to assist customer through difficult business decisions.
  • Designs, configures and implements all aspects of the full stack architecture delivering innovative solutions by combining Oracle best practices, knowledge in IT product offerings, and business acumen.
  • Recommends enhancements to meet complex customer needs.

Qualifications

Security Clearance Required: TS-SCI with FS poly **This position is not open for any clearance upgrades or sponsorship.**  Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience 

Required Skills:

  • 10 + years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Oracle’s database (10 – current). 
  • Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of  customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
  • Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery.
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.
  • Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.

  • Experience in technical operations at DOD agencies, particularly NGA and DIA
