Your Mission
As a Technical Writer I, you will support the creation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation for software and systems engineering projects. You’ll transform complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly materials that support operations, testing, and end-user understanding.
\n- Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
- Skilled at working with developers and engineers to translate technical details into understandable documentation
- Proficient with documentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Comfortable coordinating layout, design, and publication of technical materials
- Assisting in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications
- Writing technical content for hardware and software installation, configuration, and use
- Gathering technical information and preparing written text from engineering teams and project resources
- Creating and maintaining internal documentation libraries
- Formatting and reviewing technical publications for clarity and consistency
- Supporting all phases of documentation for a program or project
- TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- Two (2) years of experience as a Technical Writer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Associate’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; an additional 2 years of experience may substitute for an Associate's degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools
- Experience developing documentation for software or system engineering projects
- Familiarity with government or DoD documentation standards
