Summary:Â Maintain inventory and supplies by receiving, storing and shipping items timely and accurately; perform inventory counts (cycle counts).Â
Understanding of manufacturing processes within a distribution center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Â include the following.Â
- Print pick tickets, pull orders, maintain orders as necessary – same day
- Check orders, package shipments – same day
- Responsible to have all orders verified by another associate
- Ship packages using various shipping methods or common carriers
- Ability to ship to domestic or international destination including proper paperwork and packaging
- Maintain accurate inventory counts by performing cycle counts and reconcile variances
- Monitor, requisition shipping supplies
- Store items in neat and orderly fashion in adherence to warehouse procedures
- Properly process receipts of all incoming shipments (un-pack, verify count, inspection, data entry, paperwork, etc. within the same day.)
- Work closely with Purchasing and Accounting in resolving discrepancies
- Serve as back-up for the will-call area
- Occasional pick up/drop off of materials to and from off-site locations
- Maintain safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Skills / Trainings / Certifications / Degrees
- Ability to operate forklift and other assigned vehicles
- Ability to use PC and learn company computer system
- Manufacturing disciplines
- Warehouse basics

Education and /or Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior shipping experience necessary
- Valid MD driver’s license
- 3 -5 years in a manufacturing/distribution center
