We are currently seeking a Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our Culinary Services team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys food preparation, teamwork, and making a positive impact through excellent service.   Schedule & Perks: ✔ Full-Time Position – 40 hours per week ✔ No late-night shifts ✔ Work in a beautiful senior living community ✔ Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents ✔ Supportive and team-oriented environment   What You'll Do: As a Culinary Services Associate, you will support daily food preparation and dining operations while helping provide high-quality meals and exceptional service to our residents. Responsibilities include: Prepare ingredients and complete daily food preparation tasks according to production needs Review production sheets and prepare items according to menu requirements Assist with meal preparation, plating, portion control, and food presentation Ensure meals are prepared and served with quality, consistency, and attention to detail Garnish and plate meals according to established standards Maintain accurate food temperature logs and follow food safety procedures Prepare and organize resident meal trays and assistive dining equipment Assist with Health Center dining services and resident meal services Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, equipment, carts, and food preparation areas Label, date, and properly store food items following safety guidelines Help monitor food supplies and reduce food waste Follow all sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, families, and team members Perform other duties as assigned   Why Choose Ginger Cove? ✔ Stable full-time position with consistent scheduling ✔ Make a difference in the daily lives of residents ✔ Be part of a collaborative culinary team ✔ Work in a respected, premier senior living community ✔ Opportunity for professional growth and development ✔ Friendly workplace where teamwork and service are valued QualificationsJob Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation services preferred. Thorough experience in hot and cold food preparation preferred. Experience in long-term care setting or related health care field preferred. Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Good working knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines. Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills. Must present self in a professional manner. Most possess concern, responsiveness, and tact when dealing with colleagues and residents. Must be able to work collaboratively with others to help colleagues to achieve respective goals for creating wellness opportunities and experiences for our residents.
