ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior People Operations Administrator to serve as the detail-driven operational backbone for our People team. This role supports employee lifecycle administration, ADP Workforce Now data and reporting, payroll and timekeeping, compliance tracking, employee records, onboarding and offboarding, and routine employee questions. The right person is highly organized, accurate, confidential, and comfortable managing recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Administer onboarding and offboarding activities, including employee paperwork, checklists, system updates, internal coordination, and record retention.
  • Maintain accurate employee information in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Support payroll and timekeeping administration by reviewing employee changes, time records, paid time off, deductions, and other payroll-related information.
  • Use ADP Workforce Now reporting tools and Microsoft Excel to generate reports required to measure People metrics, maintain company compliance, and other informational requests from the leadership team.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee and manager questions about HR systems, benefits, and other issues.
  • Support compliance reporting, audits, employee record reviews, benefits reporting, employee census reporting, training tracking, and required documentation.
  • Prepare letters, forms, templates, notices, employee communications, and administrative documents using Microsoft Word and standard office tools.
  • Reply to requests for information from state and federal agencies, including replying to unemployment notices and background checks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and escalate complex employee relations, legal, compensation, leave, benefits, payroll, or policy interpretation matters to the appropriate resource.
  • This is not a complete list of duties as the nature of People Operations continually evolves and faces organizational changes in the future.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years of administrative experience with at least 2 years working within a Human Resources or People Operations organization
  • Hands-on experience working in HRIS systems, including experience with maintaining employee data, reporting, payroll data and time-keeping maintenance, and overall system maintenance.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, data review, reconciliation, tracking, and spreadsheet maintenance.
  • Strong Microsoft Word skills for preparing letters, forms, templates, notices, correspondence, and business documents.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, audits, and compliance reporting.
  • High attention to detail, strong follow-through, confidentiality, professionalism, and comfort working with sensitive employee and payroll information.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree and SHRM, HRCI, CPP, FPC, ADP, or related certification preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting multi-state payrolls is a plus.
