Support elders with daily living needs like grooming, bathing, mobility, oral hygiene, toileting, feeding, and more – always with compassion, respect, and a personal touch.Â

Use each elder’s individualized care plan to guide your support and contribute valuable insights and observations to improve outcomes.Â

Help elders maintain their highest level of physical, mental, and emotional wellness through attentive, person-centered care.Â

Foster a Safe, Comfortable, and Homelike EnvironmentÂ

Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, taking into account dietary needs and preferences.Â

Monitor skin integrity, turn and reposition immobile elders, and apply moisturizers or ointments as needed to prevent pressure injuries.Â

Respond to call bells and elder requests promptly and courteously – because every moment counts.

Take vital signs, assist with weight checks, and apply prescribed creams or treatments.Â

Assist with restorative care activities that promote strength, mobility, and independence.Â

Attend care team meetings and help shape personalized care strategies.Â

Use proper lifting techniques and safety protocols to support safe mobility and transfers.Â

Complete all required training, in-services, and competencies to stay current and confident in your role.Â

What You Bring to the TableÂ

Certified and Ready to Go: Valid CNA certification is required to hit the ground running.Â
-
Stay Cool in Emergencies: CPR certification is preferred – it shows you’re prepared for anything.Â
-
Tech Doesn’t Intimidate You: You’re confident navigating EMR/EHR systems and keeping digital records up to date.Â
-
You Speak the Language of Healthcare: Strong knowledge of medical terminology and accurate clinical documentation is second nature to you.Â
-
You Protect What Matters: A clear understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy is a must.Â
-
You’ve Been on the Frontlines: You have hands-on experience delivering patient care and assisting in developing care plans that truly make a difference.Â
-
Safety First: You consistently follow universal precautions, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize risk and maintain a safe environment.Â
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Experience with EMR and EHR systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Previous experience in patient care and creating care plans
