Join our team as an Intake Clinician, where you'll play a critical role in helping individuals access behavioral health services, navigate crises, and begin their recovery journey. This position offers a dynamic blend of intake assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination, and direct clinical services. You'll work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team while making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. What You'll Do: - Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, determine appropriate levels of care, and connect individuals with needed treatment and support services. - Provide crisis intervention services, including assessment, triage, safety planning, and coordination with hospitals, emergency departments, and community providers. - Deliver direct clinical services and care coordination, helping clients develop and achieve individualized recovery goals. - Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, treatment plans, insurance authorizations, and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with clinical teams and community partners to ensure continuity of care and support positive client outcomes.   What You’ll Bring: - Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field required; PhD or PsyD candidates are also encouraged to apply. - Connecticut licensure required; LCSW or LPC strongly preferred. LMSWs or LPCAs pursuing clinical licensure and other licensed behavioral health professionals will also be considered. - Experience conducting assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and behavioral health treatment planning. - Knowledge of mental health, substance use treatment, recovery-oriented care, and community resources. - Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills. -Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Emergency Certificate training is preferred; ability to obtain and maintain certification is required. Why Join Us?
