About the Role

We are seeking a motivated individual to learn our industry and to help us grow as a company. The role will include forklift, baler, and shear operating as well as unloading and loading trucks.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to move aluminum materials, bins, and pallets throughout the facility
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Sort and separate recyclable aluminum and scrap materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with production and warehouse operations as needed
  • Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals

 

Qualifications

  • Previous forklift experience preferred
  • Valid forklift certification is a plus (training available for qualified candidates)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
  • Prior recycling, warehouse, manufacturing, or labor experience preferred


Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience in recycling facilities
  • OSHA certification
  • Equipment operation knowledge (forklift, baler, conveyor systems)



Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing/walking for extended periods
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and outdoor weather conditions
