Markstein Sales Company is looking for a dependable, energetic Merchandiser to service established retail accounts throughout Alameda County. If you enjoy working independently, staying active throughout the day, and providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll ensure our products are fully stocked, properly rotated, and displayed according to company standards while building strong relationships with our retail partners.

Pay

Total Compensation: $23.00–$24.00 per hour

 What You'll Do

• Travel daily to assigned retail accounts throughout Alameda & Contra Costa Counties.
• Drive your assigned route using your personal vehicle (car allowance provided).
• Stock shelves, coolers, and promotional displays.
• Rotate products using company freshness and merchandising standards.
• Replenish inventory from backroom storage.
• Maintain clean, organized storage areas and attractive product displays.
• Build positive relationships with store managers and associates.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while representing Markstein Sales Company.
• Follow all company safety and merchandising procedures.

 What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current auto liability insurance and a reliable personal vehicle.
• One to two years of merchandising experience preferred.
• Previous retail, grocery, or route sales experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

 Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry products weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Push and pull loads exceeding 100 pounds while following safe work practices.
• Safely operate hand trucks, 6 wheelers and pallet jacks and work around forklifts.
• Perform frequent bending, reaching, lifting, walking, standing, and carrying throughout the workday.
