Inspector Day or Night

What You Will Do

• Inspect glass for defects.
• Pack glass according to specifications for shipment.
• Ensure quality production to meet customers specifications.
• Complete required quality/production paperwork.
• Maintain line cleanliness, sweeping and shoveling glass, proper storage of tools, and emptying trash.
• Report unsafe equipment and/or conditions.
• Maintain operations at the highest standards set forth by Vitro's customers, production, and quality departments. 
• What We Offer
• $18.68 per hour, plus an additional $0.50 shift differential (nights)
• Every other weekend off.  12-hour shifts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, SAFETY and WORK ENVIRONMENT:

1. Performs duties within normal industrial environmental conditions, may encounter extreme heat or cold working conditions.
2. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
3. Must be able to push/pull, grip to use hand tools, reach, see, hear, and speak.
4. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
5. Associate must always follow posted security procedures while in the building.
6. Must follow all PPE requirements.
