Coordinate the team effort to maximize a positive guest experience. Assign sections to slot host. Ensure the security of funds. Supervise all activities on the floor to comply with all proper company and state regulatory agencies policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and maintain positive and friendly relationships with our guests, managerial staff, co-workers and the general public. Develops and maintains patron loyalty; arbitrates patron disputes. Handle guest relations and minor discrepancies on the casino floor. Assists with the monitoring, directing, supervising and observing slot activities for adherence to company policies and gaming regulatory requirements. Cross-Training: This position will be cross-trained to assist with Slot Technician projects and other technical needs as required, providing additional support to the Slot Operations team. Promotes compliance towards all applicable rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to Gaming Commission Regulations, Slot Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Procedures, Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act, and Employee Handbook. Assists in the hiring, training, evaluating and monitoring of slot personnel. Approves and verifies slot machine payouts; Approves and verifies jackpot payouts. Submits end of shift reports as required. Ensure required facilities and equipment is available, clean and functioning properly. Provide information to guests as to how to play various gaming machines and general information about the casino promotions and games offered. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to slot machines and document every intervention. Perform basic mathematical computations (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measures). Other duties as assigned. QualificationsJOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Abilities demonstrated in managing the Slot operation effectiveness. Excellent customer service skills and detail oriented. Must be willing to work nights, holidays and weekends. Solid organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations. Must be 21 years of age. Must have basic math skills Must meet requirements to qualify for a Cahuilla Casino Gaming License. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Bilingual in Spanish (preferred). Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills and work ethics. Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions clearly and concisely. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers with active listening and clear understanding. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND High School Diploma or equivalent. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS Ability to obtain and maintain a Cahuilla Gaming License and submit to random drug and/or alcohol testing. Ability to obtain a California Driver’s License. Ability to complete necessary Casino Essentials courses to carry out the job responsibilities.
