About the Role:
Experienced Cabinet Installer must be able to complete commercial cabinet installation projects from start to finish. Installation projects mainly include cabinets, laminate or solid surface countertops, and specialty millwork. Experience installing hardwood is a plus Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality installation services that meet or exceed company standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers and superintendents to understand installation requirements and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the process. This role demands a strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the seamless integration of commercial millwork products into customer environments, supporting the company’s reputation for excellence and reliability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in commercial cabinet installation work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and manuals.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Required to have a smart phone.
- Required to have your own tools.
- Ability to work with a team or independently, as needed.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 lbs. (alone, with assistance, or with mechanical assistance), work at heights, and perform manual labor for extended periods.Â
- Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from our shop.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certification or vocational training related to manufacturing or installation.
- Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations. OSHA certification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot installation issues on-site.
- Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installation of millwork products according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation manuals to ensure accurate assembly and placement.
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to ensure that work is completed as requested.
- Inspect installed products to verify functionality and quality, making adjustments or repairs as necessary.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles to ensure readiness and safety compliance.
- Document installation activities, including time spent, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices during installation tasks.
- Ability to work overtime upon request.
Monday - Thursday 5:30 am to 4:00 pm.
10 hours per day excluding breaks.
