Description
Sales Associates are the go-to resource for customers seeking guidance, answers, and product support. This role is responsible for creating a shopping experience built on trust, accurate product knowledge, store appearance, merchandising, and point-of-sale support, in line with Shoppers Supply standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet every customer and help them find what they need with accurate, helpful product knowledge.
- Keep assigned areas clean, organized, and free of clutter throughout the shift.
- Maintain accurate pricing, signage, and merchandising displays.
- Restock shelves and rotate product so the floor stays full and fresh.
- Ring up purchases accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Use basic computer skills to look up product info, pricing, or availability for customers.
- Communicate with teammates throughout the shift and support wherever help is needed.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in departments outside your usual assignment when needed.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, such as sweeping and trash removal.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Friendly, service-first attitude with strong communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Comfortable learning our point-of-sale and computer systems.
- Retail experience preferred but not required, we'll teach you the rest.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay active on your feet throughout the shift.
