Job Summary:
The Install Crew Standard with Driving position is responsible for safely transporting and installing event rental equipment at client venues. This role involves hands-on work, including loading/unloading trucks, setting up event spaces according to client specifications, and ensuring all equipment is handled with care. Drivers will also assist with deliveries and pickups, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving and Transportation:
  • Safely drive company vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to deliver event rental equipment to client venues.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Event Setup and Breakdown:
  • Load and unload event equipment, such as tents, tables, chairs, linens, and décor items, with attention to detail and care.
  • Install and assemble rental equipment at event sites, following layout plans and client instructions.
  • Dismantle and pack equipment after events, ensuring items are returned in good condition.
• Customer Interaction:
  • Represent Curated Events in a professional and courteous manner during client interactions.
  • Address client concerns or questions on-site and communicate any issues to management promptly.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  • Inspect equipment for damages or missing parts during loading and unloading.
  • Report maintenance needs or damages to the warehouse or management team.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling heavy or fragile equipment.
  • Use proper lifting techniques and tools to prevent injuries.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience in event setup, warehouse operations, or delivery driving is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced, physically demanding role requiring regular heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking.
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
