Instructional Designer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer who can also perform technical writing for software applications and processes. The ideal candidate will design engaging learning experiences, develop clear documentation, and ensure all content meets quality and compliance standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Instructional Design:
  • Analyze learning needs and create instructional strategies for eLearning, instructor-led, and blended formats.
  • Develop storyboards, scripts, and interactive content using modern authoring tools (e.g., Elucidat).
  • Apply adult learning principles and accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA).
• Technical Writing:
  • Produce clear, concise technical documentation (user guides, SOPs, quick reference guides).
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for diverse audiences.
  • Maintain version control and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Language & Localization:
  • Create and adapt training materials in Portuguese (Brazil) and English (US).
  • Ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy for both languages.
• Collaboration & Quality:
  • Work closely with SMEs, engineers, and product teams to gather requirements.
  • Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Technical Communication, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in instructional design and technical writing..
• Proficiency with eLearning tools (Elucidat preferred), LMS platforms, and graphic design basics.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with software documentation and system training.
• Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards.
• Knowledge of video editing tools and multimedia development.
• Ability to work in agile environments.
