Janitor/Custodian

Description

 Apple Canyon Lake Property Owners Association (ACLPOA) is a recreational community located approximately 15 miles east of Galana, Illinois.  We are currently looking for a Janitor/Custodian for day-to-day housekeeping and routine maintenance for the association’s buildings and amenities. 

This is a full-time position and includes available participation in our employee benefit package including 401k, medical, and dental insurance.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Sanitation of all restrooms 

Washing and dusting of all floors, walls, furniture, fixtures, mirrors, etc. in all buildings 

Emptying and disposal of trash from all waste containers in buildings and outdoors

Watering and weeding of all flower beds throughout ACLPOA 

Paints/touches up various signs and equipment

Set-up and clean-up of for specific events

Requirements

A valid state issued driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability under ACLPOA vehicle insurance policy

Ability to lift/carry 50lbs and stand/walk for 6+ hours

Can work with minimal direct supervision

Regular schedule is M-F, however occasional weekend or holiday coverage may be required
