We are currently hiring an Electrical / Mechanical Technician to support the fabrication and assembly of industrial and municipal water treatment systems.
This is a hands-on position that combines electrical and mechanical work. While we are seeking candidates with an electrical background, applicants must be mechanically inclined and willing to perform a variety of tasks when electrical work is limited.
Schedule
- 50 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
- Overtime available most Saturdays
- Majority of work performed in our warehouse
- Limited field work required
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire industrial water treatment systems (low & high voltage)
- Install piping systems (flanged and grooved connections)
- Install valves, pumps, instrumentation, and control panels
- Fabricate and install rigid and PVC conduit
- Pull wire/cable and perform terminations
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Assist with mechanical assembly and general fabrication
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and system startup
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial electrical work preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Experience with conduit bending, wiring, and terminations
- Familiarity with pumps, valves, and industrial systems is a plus
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Work Environment
- Warehouse-based position (majority of work indoors)
- Occasional field work depending on project needs
