Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking an Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join our growing dealership team.

If you have a successful background in automotive sales, car sales, dealership sales, or commission-based vehicle sales, this is an opportunity to build your career with one of the Midwest’s fastest-growing automotive groups.

You’ll guide customers through every step of the purchasing process by building relationships, identifying their needs, presenting new and pre-owned vehicles, conducting test drives, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Compensation

• Base Pay + Uncapped Commission
• $75,000 - $150,000
• Monthly Volume Bonus Opportunities
• Unlimited Earning Potential
• Top Performers Regularly Earn $150,000+ Annually

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process
• Assist customers in selecting the right new or pre-owned vehicle
• Conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives
• Explain vehicle features, financing options, warranties, and ownership benefits
• Negotiate and finalize vehicle sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Generate repeat and referral business through outstanding follow-up
• Utilize dealership CRM systems to manage customer communications and sales opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of inventory, manufacturer incentives, and automotive industry trends
• Collaborate with sales management, finance, and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive dealership sales experience preferred (adjust as needed)
• Proven success selling new and/or pre-owned vehicles in a dealership environment
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills
• Experience using dealership CRM tools is preferred
• Self-motivated with a competitive drive to succeed
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
