Description

Quality Assurance RN at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work on-site at the ministry.

The Quality RN Specialist functions as a facilitator to the organization-at-large and to the Medical Staff in their commitment to improving the quality of patient care and organizational performance through the Performance Improvement Program. This individual abstracts and manages appropriate data for a variety of purposes including indicator reporting projects, information management and decision making, and tracking and trending data for identification of variations in the delivery of patient care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training and Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
  • 2 years of Acute care clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Clinical field, Graduate of a school of Nursing.
  • Coursework/Training and Green Belt Certification
  • 2 years of Performance improvement or related area.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
