The Quality Systems Supervisor is responsible for the monitoring, auditing, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. Provides clear communication and quality guidance ensuring the Excellerate Quality Management System (QMS) documentation is compliant to customer requirements, industry and regulatory standards, and product or process specifications. Coordinates strategies and objectives to further develop quality system processes with other functional leaders for continuous improvement of the QMS.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Two (2) years of related industry experience with Quality Systems Management.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
Travel: 10-25%, based on company need.
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Author and improve the majority of quality processes for the company including training, document control, complaints management, and other quality processes deemed as necessary.
- Serve as the document / change control SME for the company and improve and manage the Change Control process to ensure compliance of Change Requests for the cross-functional team.
- Support the implementation, configuration, innovation, and management of QMS software, and other software including training and document organization and migration.
- Support operations of the internal quality system including the full document lifecycle for Nonconforming Material (NCMs), Corrective Actions/Preventative Actions (CAPA), and version controls/release of updated QMS documentation.
- Monitor the completion and documentation of training across the different functions of the company.
- Support the continued development of the CAPA and Deviation process and work with Excellerate product quality to track complaint investigations and deviations as required.
- Support cross-functional meetings and activities as core team QMS Quality representative, as necessary.
- Develop, monitor, and report on relevant metrics to assess the effectiveness of the QMS such as internal process audits, and other quality processes deemed as necessary.
- Develop and support the Management Review process.
- Oversees duties of the Document Control Specialist and provide mentorship for continued growth of the position.
- Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
