About the Role We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager who is passionate about people, culture, and organizational excellence. This role leads and manages the full spectrum of HR operations — from recruitment and onboarding to benefits, employee relations, performance development, and compliance. You’ll be the go-to thought partner for leadership, a builder of positive culture, and a champion for staff engagement and well-being. You’ll help shape an environment where caring adults can do their best work for the kids who need us most. In this role, you will: Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, systems, and people practices. Recruit and retain a strong, diverse, mission-driven workforce. Manage compensation, benefits, HR compliance, and employee relations. Support supervisors in coaching, talent development, and performance management. Strengthen organizational culture centered on trust, inclusion, belonging, purpose, and continuous learning. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulatory reporting. QualificationsWho We’re Looking For A collaborative, mission-driven HR professional with: A degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of progressive HR experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. A growth mindset and commitment to belonging. The ability to build trust, navigate complexity, and support a multi-site workplace. PHR and SHRM-CP certification with SHRM-SCP preferred. Familiarity with Paycom a plus.
