Job DetailsJob Location: NHC.com - Appleton, WI 54914Job Summary The Licensed Practitioner, Wellness Store Advisor works in Renew Wellness Brands's Appleton, WI retail store (NHC), providing expert, evidence-based guidance to customers on their health and wellness needs. This position brings deep knowledge of the store's product line to deliver on floor assistance, one-on-one consultations, wellness assessments, and individualized nutrition and supplementation plans - including coordinating lab draws and follow-up care where appropriate. The Licensed Practitioner, Wellness Store Advisor serves as the store's go-to educational resource, staying current through ongoing engagement with brand partners, and may occasionally represent the store and broader company through media engagements.   Essential Functions of LHCP (Duties that must be performed with or without accommodation. Does not include marginal duties.) • Maintain current expertise in the store's nutraceutical product line & serve as the store's educational resource for clients. • Coordinate lab draws for clients, including explaining testing options and managing results and follow-up. • Conduct one-on-one consultations that turn clinical and product knowledge into clear, actionable client guidance. • Deliver a consistent menu of practitioner services (consultations, wellness assessments, protocol reviews) aligned with store standards. • Tracks sales and contributes to achieving store targets. • Maintains regular and predictable attendance. • Adheres to scheduled work and break times.   Essential Functions of Wellness Store Advisor (Duties that must be performed with or without accommodation. Does not include marginal duties.) • Assists customers with finding products and answers questions. • Helps keep the store clean, stocked, and organized to company standards. • Maintains product knowledge to provide the latest information to customers. • Identifies opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products or services to enhance customer value and increase sales. • Tracks sales and contributes to achieving store targets. • Maintains regular and predictable attendance. • Adheres to scheduled work and break times.   Possible Functions (Duties that may be performed with or without accommodation. Does not include marginal duties.) • May be asked to represent the store and broader company in media or public-facing engagements. • May conduct one-on-one client consultations remotely via Zoom or telephone in place of in-person meetings.   QualificationsCore Competencies • Customer Orientation- Understands customer needs and behaviors and tailors efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. • Communication- Speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative. • Efficiency- Produces significant output with minimal wasted effort. • Enthusiasm- Exhibits passion and excitement over work, with a can-do attitude. • Honesty and Integrity- Does not cut corners ethically, earns trust, and maintains confidences. • Learning Agility- Continuously seeks new knowledge, learns quickly and uses new information effectively. • Listening Skills- Allows others to speak and seeks to understand their viewpoints.   Required Education, Credentials, and Experience • Licensed Nutritionist, Registered Dietitian (RD) or Naturopathic Doctor (ND) with a valid license. • Proven experience in providing nutritional or naturopathic consultations. • Ability to work a minimum of four days a week out of the retail store. • Familiarity with managing customer data and maintaining confidentiality. • Strong understanding of health and wellness products.   Preferred Education, Credentials, and Experience • Advanced certifications or specializations in areas relevant to nutrition and naturopathy. • Experience in a retail health and wellness environment. • Proficiency with online affiliate marketing and account management. • Demonstrated ability to increase customer engagement and sales through professional consultations. • Familiarity with a wide range of health and wellness products and their applications.   Direct Reports • None   Work Environment Retail and office environment with regular exposure to a moderately noisy warehouse environment (Appleton, WI). Occasional exposure to outdoor elements, low or high temperatures, and small, enclosed walk-in cooler (Appleton, WI).   Physical Demands Constantly or often moves about to accomplish tasks, adjusts or moves objects weighing up to 10 pounds, pushes or pulls objects, reaches overhead, reaches at or below shoulder level, stoops, crouches or kneels, uses gross manipulation that requires the use of the entire arm, uses fine manipulation that requires the use of the fingers, communicates with others to exchange information, enters text or data into a computer or other device, reads and comprehends text, performs tasks that require close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust eye focus.   Occasionally remains in a stationary position for prolonged periods, adjusts or moves objects up to and over 40 pounds, crawls, and ascends or descends ladders.
