Job DetailsJob Location: Arcade, NY 14009Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 SalaryThe Payroll and HR Administrator is responsible for leading accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while also supporting key Human Resources functions. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and professionalism when handling payroll records, employee inquiries, leave administration, benefits-related billing, onboarding, compliance reporting, and employee records. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented payroll professional who is comfortable contributing across HR functions in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Administration Process weekly and/or biweekly payroll accurately and on time. Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and payroll adjustments. Manage payroll deductions, including benefits, taxes, and garnishments. Audit payroll data to support accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Generate and analyze payroll reports for internal use. Maintain payroll records in accordance with company and legal requirements. Respond to employee payroll inquiries accurately and professionally. HR Operations Support Administer and track employee leave programs, including FMLA, PFL, disability, and related programs. Support benefits billing and reconciliation. Assist with onboarding, including new hire paperwork, system setup, and orientation coordination. Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, including Paycom or an equivalent system. Assist with compliance reporting and audits. Coordinate background checks and other pre-employment requirements. Ensure completion and accuracy of new hire paperwork, including I-9 and E-Verify compliance. Contribute to HR projects and process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned QualificationsPreferred Qualifications and Skills: Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; Paycom experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to meet frequent and strict deadlines. Ability to support HR operations, including leave tracking, benefits billing, onboarding, compliance reporting, background checks, and I-9/E-Verify processes. Bachelor's degree preferred, along with 3 to 5 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. Must be comfortable on a manufacturing floor. Occasional travel may be required for recruitment events or training sessions. This is a full-time, on-site position in Arcade, New York.
