Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Support or implement SAP PM within a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive OEM or Tier 1.
  • Understand how maintenance systems directly impact uptime, reliability, and production performance.
  • Configure and support SAP PM, SAP MM integration, work orders, notifications, equipment and functional locations, maintenance plans, task lists, work centers, capacity planning, BOMs, measuring points, counters, spare parts planning, inventory management, document management systems, and mobile maintenance solutions.
  • Translate maintenance business requirements into system configuration and process solutions.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for plant maintenance operations.
  • Work closely with maintenance technicians, reliability engineers, automation engineers, manufacturing engineers, and production leadership.
  • Build maintenance processes that improve uptime and operational performance.
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops, manage sprint planning and testing activities, facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), deliver end-user training, and support commissioning and equipment acceptance activities.
  • Work effectively with third-party system integrators and SAP consultants.

Experience you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), ideally including SAP S/4HANA implementations or major enhancements.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing, large-scale industrial manufacturing, battery production, or highly automated production facilities.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance operations, including corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, emergency maintenance workflows, refurbishment management, service order management, and project-based maintenance activities.
  • Experience supporting a greenfield plant launch, new production facility, or major SAP deployment.
  • Deep knowledge of configuring and supporting SAP PM and SAP MM integration.
  • Experience in Agile project environments.
  • Highly autonomous and self-directed, comfortable operating in a startup-like, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong communicator capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent project management skills.
  • A proactive problem solver who identifies process improvement opportunities.
  • Preferred experience in automotive OEM (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Scout, Rivian, Tesla, Volkswagen, etc.) or Tier 1 automotive supplier (Bosch, ZF, Magna, Brose, Lear, Adient, etc.).
  • SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
  • FMEA and Risk Management knowledge.
  • Reliability Engineering or TPM experience.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance analytics and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Greenfield manufacturing launch experience.
