ā¶ļø What will you do:
ć»Guide customers in selecting eyewear to meet their visual needs, lifestyle, and preferences, providing fitting and adjustments for optimal comfort.
ć»Maintain high standards of customer service and brand representation on the sales floor.
ć»Stay updated on xxx products and industry trends for informed recommendations.
ć»Educate customers on lens care, maintenance, and usage.
ć»Accurately process transactions, including payments, sales, and returns, through the POS system.
ć»Manage and organize inventory, ensuring the store remains neat and well-stocked.
ć»Address and resolve product or service concerns, striving to exceed customer expectations with honesty and integrity.
ć»Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
ć»Perform measurements (pupillary distance, temple length, bridge size, etc.) to ensure eyewear meets optical prescriptions.
ć»Explain store policies, warranties, and product details, fostering an informative and welcoming shopping experience.
ć»Participate in training sessions, staff meetings, and company updates to maintain exceptional service standards.
ć»Ensure compliance with privacy and security policies regarding customer records and store operations.
ć»Process and verify inventory shipments and maintain store displays in line with brand standards.
ć»Follow company policies on safety, health, harassment, and security.
ć»Respond to customer emails and calls regarding store inquiries, product information, and complaints.
ć»Maintain and organize inventory on the sales floor and in storage areas, including processing and verifying incoming shipments.
ć»Perform frame adjustments and eyeglass assembly by shaping and fitting lenses into frames as needed.
ć»Conduct eye exams and operate exam-related equipment, including measurement devices and laptops. Utilize computer systems for word processing, document management, email, and specialized software for bookkeeping, billing, timekeeping, HR, and other exam-related tasks.
ć»Complete various tasks as assigned by management, including retail cashier duties.
ā¶ļø Required Qualifications & Skills:
ć»Optical: 1 year (Required)
ć»Customer service: 1 year (Required)
ć»Optical or Retail experience required; ABO certification a bonus!
ć»Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, with strong communication (verbal & written) skills.
ć»You are detail-orientated - you have strong attention to detail, especially in assisting customers with prescriptions and measurements.
ć»You are a team-player - you enjoy working collaboratively and have a positive, proactive attitude.
ć»You are adaptable -you're able to multitask, prioritize, and handle a fast-paced retail environment with grace.
ć»Able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
