Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Archbald, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support daily operations through strong customer service, communication, teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and report security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization according to site protocols, helping to support controlled access for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries.
• Support alarm response, facility checks, and emergency-related procedures while maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
