Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc. Assists with moving of residents’ furnishings as needed. Paints residents' living quarters as needed. Assists with grounds keeping, weeding, mulching, and snow-removal. QualificationsMinimum Requirements:   High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent Valid Driver’s License Experience skill set in areas of construction  or equivalent education required; Certified HVAC, plumbing, and electrical skills or equivalent work experience preferred;   Basic knowledge of general maintenance, including landscaping, and painting; Ability to operate light equipment Knowledge and use of power tools and various equipment Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment Ability to respond to emergency/crisis situations in a calm manner Organizational skills to effectively facilitate the time completion of repair requests Experience with computerized work order systems, preferred Must have strong attendance and work permeance history Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public; Follow a good sense of hygiene.
