 SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Upholstery Supervisor, the upholsterer is primarily responsible for building a piece of furniture from the frame to the finished piece. Â Upholsterers need to utilize the best production methods and produce the best quality products possible.
 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Upholster furniture to conform smoothly around furniture frame
- Secure and fit material onto frames using staples and other tools in a piecework environment.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Must have experience in the furniture industry
- Must have knowledge of fabrics and upholstery methods
- Attention to details
- Ability to work independently
- Experience inspecting structures and material to identify errors or defects
- Adhere to our safety policy on PPE at all times
 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of upholstery experience
