Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Archdale - Archdale, NC 27263Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: Day Position Summary The person performing this job is required to make receipts of all incoming items via outside vendor and related purchase orders. Must maintain an accurate inventory by location using a) cycle counting, b) inventory movement transactions, and c) inventory issues to shop orders.  Supplying raw material to the manufacturing operation in a timely manner is critical.  Shift Schedule: 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday   Essential Responsibilities Receive and put away all products from outside vendors (both inventoried and non-inventory purchase order items).   Verifying items, quality (as directed), and quantities received. Sourcing appropriate locations to put away stock. Receiving goods into company’s inventory system via gun (RF scanner) or manual entry (as needed) and adjust inventory accordingly. Transfer stock to primary pick locations on a regular basis, recording all transfers in the company’s inventory system via RF scanning equipment. Implement full use of scan guns to eliminate the need of manual entries whenever possible. Coordinate with manufacturing relative to production items needed for shipments. Physically put away stock with forklifts, hand truck (or by hand, but only as needed). Cross train for other responsibilities as required. Maintain inventory accuracy at all times and cycle count product as needed. Must be able to maintain work pace required to achieve production demands. Fills out required paperwork as specified by supervisor. Load/unload van trailers and flat beds properly to avoid damage during transporting. Maintain a safe workplace through all housekeeping functions, keeping areas clean and straightened and product in its proper place.  Operate simple PC (personal computer). Follows all company and OSHA regulations and procedures as outlined in company training program. Perform other duties as needed by warehouse management.   Qualifications Basic Qualifications (Required) Must be at least 18 years old. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience operating powered industrial lifts (forklift, cherry picker, etc.) Ability to do basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals) Proficiency in use of MS Office suite: Word, Excel and Outlook and prior experience with using an ERP system Expert problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changes in business conditions Ability to handle a mix of administrative and hands-on duties Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service   Preferred Qualifications 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar warehousing/shipping/receiving   Travel Requirements No travel required   Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
