Ardmore Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate, team-oriented practice. Our five-doctor, AAHA-accredited hospital is committed to providing exceptional medical care while fostering a positive, supportive workplace where technicians are valued and encouraged to grow.

We're looking for a motivated technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, communicates well with clients and teammates, and is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Technician at Ardmore Animal Hospital, you'll play an essential role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians throughout the day. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with patient examinations and treatments
  • Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and patient nursing care
  • Preparing and administering medications as directed
  • Collecting and processing laboratory samples
  • Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures
  • Performing dental prophylaxis and assisting with dental procedures
  • Monitoring hospitalized patients and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Communicating with clients in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Scheduling appointments, entering medical records, and processing invoices
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary hospital environment
  • Supporting the team wherever needed to provide exceptional patient care

What We're Looking For

  • Previous veterinary technician experience required
  • Strong technical and patient nursing skills
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dentistry preferred
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
