Crane Mechanic

Job DetailsJob Location: Ardmore, OK 73401 We are seeking a skilled Crane Mechanic to join our maintenance crane to inspects, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs complex heavy lifting equipment to ensure it operates safely. Qualifications Reading work orders and consulting with customers: Understanding the work required and explaining the repair process  Planning work procedures: Using technical manuals and charts to map out work procedures  Inspecting vehicles: Following checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined, including the engine, transmission, steering mechanism, and brake systems  Running diagnostic tests: Reading and interpreting diagnostic test results to identify problems  Repairing or replacing parts: Replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment  Performing basic maintenance: Changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires  Test-driving vehicles: Ensuring that the vehicle runs smoothly after repairs  Communicating with supervisors, coworkers, and clients: Providing updates on repair progress or any potential issues  Staying updated: Keeping up with industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturer recommendations  Collaborating with other mechanics: Working with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient workflow  Change and Rotate tires Oil changes- and any other services that might need to be made Must Follow basic instructions & Pay attention to detail. Must pass a background check & Drug test.
