This position reports directly to the Comptroller.
Responsibilities &amp;
Expectations
* Supporting month-end and year-end close process
* Forecast preparation and analysis 
* Supporting year-end financial statement audit
* Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control
* Ensuring compliance with GAAP principles, including guidance related to lease accounting and revenue recognition
* Maintaining and reconciling various accounting schedules, including fixed assets and prepaid accounts
* Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
* Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
* Assisting the Accounting Manager with preparing consolidated financial statements
* Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
* Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses as requested
* Assisting in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
* Supervising other staff members (we have a team in Gurabo supporting certain processes of the Company)
* Assisting with tax audits and year-end tax returns
Required Qualifications
* At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
* A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is a must
* Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
* In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
* CPA or CPA candidate
* Hands-on experience with NetSuite
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with regulated/compliance-based industries
* Experience with Bill.com, Stripe and Expensify
* Experience in high growth companies with $50-200M in revenue
