Job DetailsJob Location: Liberty Educational Ministries, Incorporated - Argyle, TX 76226Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: Facilities Position Purpose  Supervise the maintenance, repair and services of campus buildings and grounds, including Integrity Park; help aid in optimization of personnel and other resources. Assist the Facilities Director in coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of general facility operations.    Essential Functions  Manage the Facilities Department technicians and subcontractors.  Assist in the functioning of all campus systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management, including all grounds area.  Aid in projects (facility repairs/construction, preventive maintenance) for the purpose of ensuring completion within established time frames and budgets.  Help manage risk mitigation of physical elements within the campus boundaries.  Aid in ensuring all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures.  Help maintain equipment and building installments and refurbishments.  Keep the building and all facilities up to code and help modify and improve the school.  Run routine maintenance inspections.  Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes.  Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.  Adhere to proper personal protective equipment safeguards in all work tasks.  Abide by OSHA guidelines.  Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team.  Participate in cross training exercises as directed by management.  Adhere to the Student Protection Policy (SPP) procedures and trainings.   Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the school.    Qualifications  High school diploma or equivalent.  Minimum of 18 years of age.  Experienced in maintenance and construction of facilities, including methods, practices, equipment, and supplies used in the building trades, state and local building, safety and health codes, occupational hazards and safe work practices of building maintenance trades, and health standards.  2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial plumbing (or completion of a certified 4- to 5-year apprenticeship) or Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber license a plus.  Must have experience in diagnostics and troubleshoot, identify and repair plumbing issues campus wide. Be able to perform preventative maintenance on water distribution and disposal systems. Reliable transportation to and from work.  Minimum of two years of verifiable consistent work history.  Spanish/English bilingual preference.  Woodworking and metal working skills a plus.  Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, analytical skills, and teamwork.  Demonstrated leadership and facilitative skills.  Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.  Conflict management and ability to adapt.  Time management and multitasking skills.  Serve as a Christian role model.    Physical Requirements and Work Environment   Requires on-site work throughout the campus.  Requires extensive walking at times to cover facility needs throughout the entire campus.  Works in an environment with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a varied and diverse array of contacts.  Assignment of tasks with a frequency of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly, depending on individual assignments.  Regularly use close and distance vision.   May stand for extended periods of time.   Be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.  Ability to instruct and model desirable skills and attitude.  Ability to remain productive and maintain control under stress.   Full-time, 12-month position.  Qualifications
