Job DetailsJob Location: Liberty Educational Ministries, Incorporated - Argyle, TX 76226Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: Liberty Locker Position Purpose The position will assist in the daily overall operations of Liberty Locker including customer service, sales, marketing, inventory, store maintenance, vendor relations and invoicing. Essential Functions Assist families with uniform requirements. Provide product information to customers as needed. Provide the utmost customer service. Encourage school spirit and support. Interact with customers, help, and respond to queries about products and purchases. Provides recommendations according to customer needs or preferences. Locates merchandise for customers. Daily POS activation, closeouts, and cash and credit card reconciliations Assist in implementing a variety of merchandise to promote sales. Promote new products to customers in-person, on social media, and electronic communication. Weekly procurement of snacks with limited off campus order pickup to be approved by supervisor. Research and work with the supervisor on implementation of new items, cost, and trends. Daily operation of sales, refunds, exchanges, etc. using sales register. Manage cash and credit card transactions in accordance with the school’s internal control processes. Document sales by updating customer records. Assist with inventory counts as determined by school/supervisor Alert the management of potential security issues. Adhere to Student Protection Program (SPP) procedures and trainings. Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the school. Qualifications High school Diploma. Retail experience. Basic retail math knowledge. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Platforms. Experience operating a cash register. Experience using social media. Experience operating point-of-sale (POS) transactions. Critical thinking, evaluation, and analytical skills. Serve as a Christian role model. Physical and Mental Requirements and Work Environment The ability to function well in an environment with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a varied and diverse array of contacts. May work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time. Regularly use close and distance vision May stand for extended periods of time. Works primarily in a traditional climate-controlled office environment. Be able to occasionally lift to 30 lbs. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written). Ability to model desirable skills and attitude. Ability to remain productive and maintain control under stress. Ability to maintain a clear focus on a positive customer experience. Full-time, hourly paid position. Any hours worked per workweek above 40 hours/week must have prior approval by direct supervisor. Eleven-month position from July 1 to May 31. Qualifications
