Job DetailsJob Location: Liberty Educational Ministries, Incorporated - Argyle, TX 76226Position Type: SeasonalJob Category: Coach Position Purpose The Field Attendant supports the upkeep, readiness, and daily operations of the school’s athletic fields and outdoor facilities. This part-time role helps ensure that fields, equipment, and surrounding areas are safe, clean, and prepared for practices, games, and school events. The Field Attendant contributes to a positive environment for students, staff, and guests while supporting the mission and values of the school.  Essential Functions and Duties Prepare athletic fields for practices, games, and special events, including lining fields, setting up goals or equipment, and ensuring playing surfaces are safe and game ready. Assist with basic field and grounds maintenance such as trash removal, minor repairs, and general upkeep of athletic areas. Set up and take down equipment for athletic events, including benches, cones, goals, nets, and other athletic equipment. Monitor fields and surrounding facilities during events to ensure safety, cleanliness, and appropriate use. Assist athletic department staff and coaches with field logistics before, during, and after games or practices. Maintain organization of athletic storage areas and ensure equipment is properly stored and secured. Report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or damaged equipment to the appropriate supervisor. Support a welcoming and positive environment for student-athletes, families, and visiting teams. Follow school safety policies and procedures at all times. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the athletic department and campus operations. Demonstrate Christlike character and conduct consistent with the Warrior Way, modeling integrity, discipline, and leadership for student-athletes both on and off the field Adhere to Student Protection Program (SPP) procedures and trainings Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the school  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic knowledge of athletic field preparation and maintenance practices, or willingness to learn. Ability to safely use and handle basic groundskeeping tools and athletic equipment. Strong attention to detail to ensure fields and facilities are properly prepared and maintained. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively to meet preparation timelines for practices and events. Strong organizational skills to maintain equipment storage areas and ensure materials are returned and secured after use. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coaches, staff, students, and visitors. Ability to identify safety concerns or maintenance issues and report them promptly. Willingness to work flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends based on athletic schedules. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to support athletic department operations. Commitment to maintaining a positive, respectful environment consistent with the school’s Christian mission and values.   Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in groundskeeping, facility support, athletics, or event setup is preferred but not required. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings or occasional weekends for athletic events. Alignment with and support of the school’s Christian mission and values.  Physical Requirements and Work Environment Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment up to approximately 50 pounds. Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and perform physical labor associated with field preparation and maintenance.
