SPOT/Sterile Processing Technician - OR (Evenings), Arlington Heights,IL

• Contract: 12 weeks
  
• Location: Arlington Heights, IL
  
• Hourly Pay: $ 23.00
  
• Non-taxed Stipend: $469.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $1159.00
  
• Non-Billable Orientation: 16 hours
  

• Preparing medical equipment and instruments for decontamination
  
• Operating equipment to clean, disinfect and decontaminate surgical instruments, medical devices and equipment
  
• Inspecting instruments and equipment for signs of damage and wear and tear
  
• Unpacking, checking and stocking new equipment, instruments and devices
  
• Delivering equipment and supplies to all areas of the facility
  
• Responding to emergency supply requests during surgical procedures
  
• Maintaining accurate records of when items undergo sterilization
  
• Monitoring temperature and humidity conditions within storage areas
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
  
• Pay package details provided upon offer
  

Requirements

• 2+ yrs of experience preferred
  
• Must have at least 1 travel contract experience
  
• Sterile processing technician either CRCST or CBSPDT certification required
  
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

• Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  
• Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
