Your Opportunity:

Our Arlington office is looking for an engaged and enthusiastic student attending college or university for Interior Design to join us as an intern this summer, supporting Buildings Government Services. Learning begins in the classroom but there's no better place to gain real-world experience than with Stantec. Interns are an integral part of our teams, working to solve some of the most complex challenges, and bringing fresh perspective and new ideas to the table.

At Stantec we design with community in mind, and you will have an opportunity to be enrolled in our company wide intern development summer program. In this program you will join a diversified team of your peers guided by our experienced interior designers, architects and engineers as you collaboratively work together on a community enriching project. You will work on tasks with close guidance and direction from a Senior Interior Designer or Architect. You will be working on projects specializing in technical designs well as developing elevations, renderings, and interior details with the rest of the team. You will be assisting with conducting design research with sustainability in mind, project documentation, and participate in client meetings. The development of collaborative skills and integration with all our disciplines is a fundamental principle for Stantec Interior Design and Architecture. Being an active member of our team will help you on your way to obtaining your NCIDQ through the breadth of your experience.

As an intern at Stantec, you'll work alongside our experienced practitioners and with our clients and communities. This hands-on experience will equip you with practical skills, build your network, and provide opportunities that set you up for success.
