Position: A/V Integrator Technician

Location: Mark Center, VA

Duration: Full-time with benefits

Client: WHS- JSP (Washington Headquarters Services) 

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance

Certifications: Industry credentials like the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) are highly preferred.


  • An Audio Visual (AV) Integrator designs, installs, programs, and maintains connected sound, video, lighting, and control systems for businesses and homes.
  • System Design: Plan custom AV layouts, signal flows, and infrastructure requirements for conference rooms, auditoriums, or smart buildings.
  • Installation & Integration: Mount displays, run cabling, and connect speakers, microphones, and video      conferencing hardware into a unified system.
  • Programming & Configuration: Set up control interfaces (like touch panels) and configure AV-over-IP networks.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Diagnose hardware and software faults, test signal integrity, and resolve technical bugs.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with clients, IT teams, and construction contractors to finish projects on time and within budget.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of electronics, signal flow, acoustics, and IT networking infrastructure.
  • Control Platforms: Familiarity with industry standards like Crestron, Extron, or AMX, Cisco devices
  • Certifications: Industry credentials like the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) are highly preferred.
