Position Summary

The Area Manager is accountable for the performance, development, and brand consistency of our General Managers. This role leads a team of General Managers, turning company strategy into effective execution in the field, with a focus on team development, operational efficiency, and guest experience across multiple locations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Maintain rigorous operational standards and ensure consistent execution of the SeoulSpice brand experience in every market.
  • Talent Development: Build and develop a high-performing team of General Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and internal promotion.
  • Performance & Profitability: Own the store-level P&Ls by identifying opportunities, addressing gaps, and ensuring strong financial performance across all restaurants.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Culinary, HR, and other teams to ensure alignment, continuous improvement, and strong representation of field insights to the Support Center.

Qualifications:

We’re looking for a strong operational leader who brings both experience and a people-first mindset. Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least 2 years of restaurant management experience 
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain rigorous operational standards and ensure consistent execution of the SeoulSpice brand experience in every market.
  • Field Leadership & Talent Development: Build and develop a high-performing team of General Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and internal promotion.
  • Performance & Profitability: Own the store-level P&Ls by identifying opportunities, addressing gaps, and ensuring strong financial performance across all restaurants.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Culinary, HR, and other teams to ensure alignment, continuous improvement, and strong representation of field insights to the Support Center.
  • Familiarity with the Google Workspace suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to bend and reach overhead often
  • Must possess the ability to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment
  • May stand for long periods and be able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to sit, squat, and kneel occasionally

Pay Transparency:

Total Compensation $70,000 to $110,000 based on ability and experience
