This position is a 1.0 FTE located at the Career Center for the 2026/2027 school year.

All Teachers/Instructional Staff hired after January 15th are considered term employees. This position is a term position that is effective for FY26 through June 18, 2026 only. You would need to re-apply for a position for FY27.

Qualifications:Â
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.Â
- NOVA dual enrolled preferred.Â
- ASE Master certified.
- Minimum AA degree in Automotive Technology.Â
- Minimum five years recent experience as Line Technician preferably in dealership.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.Â
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:Â
- Strong engine performance and electronic skills.
- Instructor and/or mentor experience a plus.
- Ability to gather, review and assemble curriculum.Â
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PP, etc.
- Ability to recruit dealers and other industry partners.
Salary:Â
- Salary will be based on the FY2026-27 salary schedule
