Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, passionate Chef to join our team in Arlington, MA. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who takes pride in preparing high-quality, nutritious meals and values consistency, reliability, and teamwork. The Chef plays an essential role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents by delivering meals that are both nourishing and enjoyable. An ideal schedule would consist of four 10 hour days.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Cook two meals a day and snacks for approximately 15–20 clients and staff
- Create nutritious, well-balanced, and visually appealing meals
- Plan menus that incorporate dietary guidelines and nutritional considerations
- Accommodate food allergies and specialized dietary needs
- Manage grocery purchasing, food inventory, and kitchen supplies
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of kitchen and storage areas
- Maintain professional, respectful interactions while adhering to appropriate client boundaries within a residential setting.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs, must be able to work on their feet 7.5 -10  hours per day excluding breaks, must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines, must have a valid Driver’s License, clean driver's record and a reliable automobile
- Work Environment: Most work is performed indoors in the kitchen setting
Requirements
Qualifications Required:
- B.S. Degree in Culinary Arts, Culinary Nutrition, Nutrition Sciences, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional culinary experience
- Experience preparing health-focused meals, including Keto / Metabolic Wellness-inspired cuisine
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- High level of reliability, professionalism, and consistency
Qualifications Desired:
- Strong preference to those with formal nutrition training
- ServSafe Certification
