Chief Financial Officer

The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) is looking for a savvy and business minded leader to serve as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this individual provides leadership, management, and vision necessary to lead ASTRO’s financial, administration and information technology functions. The CFO will play a crucial role in the strategic planning, financial management, and operational effectiveness of this $25 Million organization.

Overseeing a staff of 15, the CFO directs the financial and business planning for ASTRO, translating business goals into financial and budget plans. The CFO also oversees ASTRO’s utilization and implementation of technology resources ensuring the Society is appropriately equipped to meet its business needs. Additionally, this position will supervise all operational aspects of the Society’s business strategy including facilities management and office administration. The CFO will work to ensure a culture that emphasizes both a customer-centric mindset and data driven decision making.

ASTRO’s office is located in Arlington, VA, with the Crystal City metro station located in their building. ASTRO’s employees enjoy a hybrid schedule and the CFO will work from the office on a regular basis.
