NOVA Cat Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Client Service Representative who loves to work with cats to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. As part of our team, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. You will greet customers by phone as they arrive, book appointments, and answer phone calls, as well as attend to the needs of clients for prescriptions, prescription diets, etc. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication and computer skills, and is able to work independently and with a team.

NOVA Cat Clinic is the only Cat-Friendly Practice inside the beltway. We are a full-service medical center for cats specializing in preventive medicine, responsive treatment, and collaboration with owners. Client Service Representative

NOVA Cat Clinic in Arlington, VA

$19.00-21.00 hourly pay rate

WHAT YOU’LL DO   

  • Greet clients as they arrive for their appointments  
  • Leads practice opening and closing procedures
  • Ensures all public areas are clean and presentable
  • Processes cash, checks, charge card payments, and credit account payments
  • Schedules appointments for the clinic, adhering to practice and Doctor preferences
  • Assists in updating client/patient files
  • Prepares and sends client correspondence and reminder notices
  • Welcomes clients and patients to the practice with a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Answers incoming telephone calls applying proper telephone etiquette
  • Presents clients with medications, instructions, new client kits, and other take-home items
  • Handles emergency situations with great care, patience, and following established clinic policies and procedures
  • Addresses client concerns in a calm appropriate manner, ensuring every experience ends in satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS    

  • 1 plus year veterinary experience or education  
  • Team-oriented  
  • Ability to multi-task   
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Experience as a receptionist is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Familiar with computers
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
