Associa is hiring a Condominium Portfolio Manager to over see up to 10 communities in the Washington DC, Arlington, and  Alexandria areas.

 

The Condominium Portfolio Manager ensures the community is well cared by partnering with stakeholders and managing the daily operations to include administrative, maintenance, capital projects, and budgets.

 

Daily responsibilities:

  • Research and respond to inquiries by phone, email, and in-person.
  • Travel to community sites and collaborate with onsite staff, homeowners, members of the Board of Directors, vendors, and contractors.
  • Implement Board policy and directives within the scope of the management agreement.
  • Works with the board on strategic initiatives, policy governance, and association projects.
  • Conduct community walk throughs and site inspections.
  • Source maintenance vendors; negotiate vendor contracts; offer recommendations to the board; schedule and coordinate vendors onsite.
  • Review financials; create and manage budgets.
  • Prepare board packets. Schedule and facilitate monthly, quarterly, and yearly board meetings.
  • Coordinate architectural review requests.
  • Hire, train, and develop staff.

  • Other projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and valid driver's license are required.
  • Customer service minded, team oriented, and a proactive communication style.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Organized, attention to detail, and self-directed with strong follow-up skills.
  • Willingness to obtain CMCA within the first year of employment, company paid.
