The NDA TA Specialist is responsible for drafting, negotiating, and processing Non-Disclosure agreements (NDA) and Teaming agreements (TA) for prime contracts. The NDA TA specialist works closely with Project Leadership, Proposal Managers, AFS Legal, External Vendors, and Contract and Subcontract Managers.Â
This role includes some or all of the following key responsibilities:
• Manage a queue of NDA and TA requests through the full life cycle from request through final signature.
• Prepare NDA and TA documents tailored to specific requirements, using standard company templates, by incorporating opportunity specific information.
• Apply knowledge of federal contracting and procurement cycle to the NDA and TA process.
• Provide advice and support to Proposal and Program teams in developing Teaming Agreement language including, but not limited to, workshare and exclusivity.
• Validate status of external companies in SAM.gov or an equivalent system.
• Distribute documents to external companies for review and act as the main point of contact between the external company and AFS during the negotiation process.Â
• Review document changes requested by external companies and determine if AFS can accept the document as amended. Â
• Coordinate with the Program team, Contract and Subcontract Management, and Legal to accept or negotiate requested changes. Â
• Document AFS approvals as required for the NDA and TA processes.
• Advise Proposal and Program teams, as needed, with the process for entering document requests and checking document status.
• Contribute to periodic review and revision of process documentation and job aids.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvement activities with organization-wide impact.
• Create and maintain records of document negotiations and approvals on AFS systems.
• Interact with PMO, Managing Directors, Legal, Compliance, and other CM and SM&P personnel as needed.
• Attend meetings and training as needed.
• Support day to day subcontract administration including responding to data calls and maintaining data to ensure accurate metrics and work flow.
• Participate in meetings with PMO, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and coordination of NDA and TA execution. Â
